Celebrate 2009!

A year of festivities is in store for everyone in Palos Heights this year.

The City of Palos Heights celebrates its 50 ^th  Anniversary this year.  The Palos Heights Public Library is 65 years old and The Chamber of Commerce is 60 years old this year.  St. Alexander’s Parish and Trinity Christian College commemorate 50 years and Palos Fine Arts is 25.  The League of Women Voters marks their 50th anniversary.  The Palos Heights Women’s Club reached 70 years in 2008.

This calendar is meant to help all of us keep track of our parties.  We’ll be dancing in the streets, attending an author lecture, listening to music of all kinds and enjoying dining and dancing.  There will be events for all ages, a parade, a classic car show, golfing and a children’s “jump” party.  There will also be a variety of religious services held throughout the year.

So, one and all join us for a yearlong party and celebrate the growth of a city and its schools, churches, businesses and organizations.
